WHAT IS THE ARIZONA CORPORATION COMMISSION (ACC)?
The Arizona Corporation Commission (ACC) affects our daily lives more than you might think. ACC members make decisions like how much we pay for utilities and how we use our water resources. This commission plays a role in nearly all the everyday things we need to survive.
Through the ACC, we have the opportunity to have the brighter Arizona future that we deserve. But for too long, the Republican-led commission has instead prioritized special interests over us. Favoring corporate investors who fund their candidate campaigns, wasting our precious water resources for the fossil fuel industry, and siding with large utility companies who unjustifiably increase our utility bills. The ACC has long overlooked the burden they have placed on hardworking families.
But our VOTE has the power to change that…
This year, three of the five total seats on the ACC are up for grabs in the November General Election. The stakes have never been higher and the possibility of flipping control of the commission would start a cleaner, more affordable era for Arizona families.

A NEW ACC COULD…
-
Ensure access to efficient and affordable clean water and energy.
-
Grow our solar programs instead of relying on the dirty fossil fuel industry.
-
Preserve water for Arizona’s future generations.
-
Lower our water and utility bills, not raise them.
-
In this election, we can end the Republican culture of corruption and put our community needs first, not corporations.
